To Whom It May Concern

With Reference to Andy Parker, artist photographer.

Mr Parker has been involved with my inclusive community dance company, Echoes Dance Co. since its inception in 2011 as the company annotator. During the time that I have worked with him, this extremely talented photographer has followed the company every year through their rehearsal process to performance, capturing intimate and truthful moments as they happen. He approaches the work with enthusiasm and commitment, while never being obvious or intrusive during rehearsals, something which is absolutely vital to the creation of collaborative dance work.

Some of his work can be viewed on the Echoes Dance Co website; www.echoesdanceco.com

Every year Mr Parker has given unstintingly of his time, talent and materials without thought of recompense. As Echoes Dance Co has received no funding to date, I cannot express my gratitude to Mr Parker for his generosity.

We both live and work in Cornwall which is one of the most financially deprived areas of the UK. I am aware that the expenses incurred by Mr Parker while supporting the work of Echoes Dance Co are increasing year on year. If you can assist with any of the costs of his materials then this will facilitate a continuation of the valuable work that he does, enabling him to further his dedication to raising awareness of inclusive practices within the Arts in Cornwall.

Thank You,

To Whom It May Concern

I am a support worker and artist working with Shallal Dance Theatre Company and have known Andy Parker on a professional basis for a year during which time he has become the company's resident photographer. Shallal is an inclusive community theatre company and relies on public funding and donations to survive.

As such the company is unable to pay Andy for his work and he provides not only his time and expertise for free but he currently covers the cost of all his materials to provide the company with stunning visual representations and records of our work. The photographs are used to promote the company's work and are instrumental in gaining access to continued funding. His photographs also provide company members, who are often marginalised by society, with meaningful representations of themselves. Members are primarily made up from people with learning and physical disabilities.

The quality of Andy's work is second to none, both technically and creatively and his commitment and passion for photography and his subject matter is both infectious and inspiring. Any help through sponsorship or donation to help Andy maintain his work with the company and the wider community would be of immense value.

Kind Regards
